My First Official Visit

A smiling couple takes a selfie while kayaking on a sunny lake, with blue water and a clear sky behind them.

I stayed in a hotel in DTC right next to top golf and the person I was visiting went there and walked around the neighborhood. It was amazing. I loved being there and will definitely be moving there within the year. Denver feels like home now. And I haven’t felt that in a decade of living in Seattle and Alaska. Denver is the coolest place I’ve ever spent my time in. The food, the music scene at bluebird. The flats, the geography. I could go on and on. Denver is where the hell it’s at!

I didn’t meet or run into a single person I didn’t have a conversation with in Denver. Everyone was so inviting and so nice.
